We’re excited to announce we've opened a new warehouse in Dallas, Texas. This region has strategic importance in our growth plans, and as our 24th location continues to build upon our goal to ensure 90% of U.S consumers are within same day reach.
Why Dallas for our newest facility?
Strategic location
Dallas is centrally located in the U.S., making it an ideal distribution hub to and from East and West Ports as well as the Mexican border. It provides immediate access to major markets in both neighboring states like Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas as well as broader access to the entire U.S. market.
Strong transportation infrastructure
Dallas has prime highway access, with major interstates like I-35, I-20, I-30, and I-45, allowing for easy transport across the country. It's also a key rail hub for BNSF and Union Pacific.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), one of the busiest cargo airports in the U.S., is conveniently located. This supports fast global shipping. And while not a coastal city, Dallas has excellent connections to Gulf Coast ports where we already have a strong presence (like Houston) for international shipping.
Growing population and workforce
Dallas is a fantastic place to do business. With a large and growing population, it provides a strong labor pool for warehouse and logistics jobs and has a business-friendly climate compared to other coastal logistics hubs.
E-commerce and retail boom
Dallas is a major hub for e-commerce fulfillment centers, with companies like Amazon, Walmart, and Target expanding distribution networks there. These are key considerations for many of our customers hoping to reach their target consumers more efficiently.
The region's fast-growing economy and consumer base are driving demand for warehousing and distribution, making it an ideal location for us to grow our presence.
Another key milestone in our strategy
Hot off the heels of our recently announced acquisition of LaGrou’s warehousing business in Chicago, Dallas adds another 271,000 square feet of warehousing to our network. This brings our total network size to 5.6 million square feet across 24 locations, and further enables us to deliver on our strategic goal of reaching 90% of the US population within the same day.
