One Year Later: One Team, One Network, Built for Growth

Just over a year ago, Source Logistics welcomed LaGrou Distribution into the Source family. What began as two organizations with complementary strengths has quickly become a single, unified team working toward a shared vision: building a stronger, more scalable cold chain and distribution network for our customers.
Over the past 12 months, our focus has been clear— bring our people, systems, and operations together to operate as one company while preserving the expertise and customer relationships that made both organizations successful.
On the people side, we’ve organized a unified management structure, successfully onboarded LaGrou employees into Source’s HR and benefits systems, and built strong relationships with service partners to ensure continuity and stability across the workforce. Most importantly, our teams have embraced a shared culture centered on our SourceDNA philosophy — creating alignment around accountability, execution, and customer service.
Operationally, we’ve aligned around a unified operating model across all functions, broadened the solutions we deliver to customers, and fully integrated transportation into Source Freight—creating a more connected network for coordinating warehousing and transportation services.
At the same time, we’ve begun implementing more advanced technology that supports our customers’ operations. This includes transitioning systems onto Source’s enterprise technology platforms, implementing enhanced EDI capabilities with key customers, and executing warehouse management system (WMS) upgrades that will further strengthen operational visibility and efficiency across the network.
Over the past year, we’ve also expanded our value-added services (VAS) and operational capabilities, and are actively developing additional service offerings to support both new and existing customers. These services—ranging from kitting and repacking to retail-ready packaging and other specialized fulfillment support—allow us to deliver more flexible solutions as our customers grow and evolve.
Just as importantly, the integration created new opportunities for customers through the combined network. By bringing LaGrou’s capabilities together with Source Logistics’ national infrastructure, customers now actively benefit from:
- Frozen and refrigerated warehousing capacity
- Integrated transportation through Source Freight
- Broader value-added services to support retail and e-commerce requirements
- Enhanced technology and systems integration for greater operational visibility
- Access to a larger network designed to scale alongside growing brands
We’re proud of the progress made over the past year, and this milestone is only the beginning. The work of bringing two companies together has strengthened our collective organization, expanded our capabilities, and positioned us to better serve customers across the food and consumer packaged goods supply chain.
Thank you to our employees, customers, and partners who have been part of this journey. We look forward to continuing to grow together as one unified Source Logistics.
